Online schoolgirls programming training from January 15

 Eco-BD and Bangladesh Open Source Network (BDOSN) will impart basic to advance programming training to schoolchildren online from January 15 to 21 tomorrow. The six-day training will be imparted under the BD Girls Coding Scheme with the help of the US-based charity Eco-USA.

The free training divided into six classes will give students a basic idea about coding and programming. At the same time, programming learning techniques will be taught.

Humayun Kabir, a volunteer at Bangladesh open-source network and research assistant at Moscow institute of physics and technology, will impart the training.

Ahmad Muddasser, assistant project coordinator for training in this regard, said that the number of women participating in technology-based activities at universities or workplaces is relatively low. The training will help in making students interested in programming from the school level.
