Decision to close educational institutions as infection increases
The education ministry is not thinking of closing educational institutions right now.
The education minister said this in response to a question from reporters after a session of the DC conference at Osmani Smriti Auditorium on Tuesday (January 18). He said the government will decide to close educational institutions if coronavirus infection swells. We are monitoring the situation, the education minister said. I will hold a meeting with the National Technical Advisory Committee on Covid-19 within 2-1 days.
He added that DCs have been instructed to prepare for virtual classes once educational institutions are closed. One has to rely on assignments where it is not possible to take virtual classes
