10 Dhabi students to get $300 a year scholarship

 In the 2018-2019 academic year at Dhaka University (Dhabi), 10 regular students enrolled in the first year graduation (honors) class will be given a scholarship of USD 300 per annum by Sumitomo Corporation Asia and Oceania Pvt. Ltd. authorities in Japan. Applications have been invited in the prescribed form from the students of that academic year. The scholarship was reported by the Public Relations Department of Dhaka University in a press release on Monday afternoon. The application can be made till January 31.

According to the press release, students who passed higher secondary or equivalent examinations in 2018 will be able to apply for the Sumitomo corporation scholarship. Applicants should have 4.80 GPA in SSC and 4.80 GPA in HSC except for the fourth subject. The scholarship application form can be collected from room 208 (a) of the registrar's office of the university. The form has to be filled up and submitted to the Deputy Registrar (Education-5) in room 208/A with the signature and seal of the Chairman or Institute of his respective departments and the hall principal by January 31.
